In their projects, our teams design equipment that will meet the needs of our customers, both on the cargo and passenger side ... and currently, we are looking for a customer service representative to fill our team!
Roles and responsibilities
Reporting to the Production Manager, the incumbent will serve as the main contact with customers, answering questions and requests from customers regarding car maintenance services and performing the following tasks, among others:
- Take charge and resolve customer account issues to full resolution
- Add, review and update cars in the car flow software based on various car production information such as mechanical data from purchase instructions, cleaning certificates, drawings, procedures, etc.
- Create estimates based on our inspectors' drafting.
- Upload estimates to customer billing systems.
- Follow up on estimates pending approval and modify them as needed.
- Create work orders following estimate approval in our computer systems using information gathered from our QA department procedures, programs and forms, production inspection sheets.
- Gather relevant information to order the material specified in the approved specifications.
- Create and provide follow-up reports to car owners.
- Update repair dates in the car flow system when repairs are completed, and report air brake tests.
- Review completed car records to ensure car owner checklists and forms are properly completed and signed for audit purposes.
- After cost analysis, send final estimate through various systems and email.
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly and monthly car status reports for customers.
- Any other duties as required.
Job requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing or commercial sector;
- Bilingual French and English (written and oral);
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
