We are pleased to announce important changes in the leadership team at CAD Railway Industries Ltd.
After guiding the company through some of the most challenging times in our history, our President, Benoit Leclerc, and our Senior Vice President – Finance, Guillaume Caza, have decided to step down from their positions. Their leadership, resilience, and dedication during a period of uncertainty and transformation were instrumental in preserving stability and laying the groundwork for future growth. We extend our deepest gratitude for their extraordinary service.
Looking forward, we are pleased to announce that David Van der Wee will be joining us as the new Chief Executive Officer effective October 14, 2025. David joins us with an impressive background and extensive experience in the industry. He most recently served as Vice President, Rolling Stock and Components, North America at Alstom. Prior to that, he was the COO at Bombardier Transportation Americas and held various leadership roles at MAAX Bath and Pratt & Whitney Canada. David’s strategic vision, innovative approach, and strong leadership skills make him the perfect fit to lead our company into the future.
In addition, Yuta Fujihara has already commenced duties as Chief Financial Officer effective September 1, 2025. This appointment has been made possible through the introduction and support of our parent company, Sojitz Corporation, which not only demonstrates their confidence in our company but also their renewed commitment as a shareholder to actively support our long-term success. Yuta comes to us from our parent company, Sojitz Corporation, Japan, where he has held various senior roles, including finance, accounting, and corporate planning, as well as serving as the executive secretary to the Chairman and CEO. His joining will strengthen our leadership team.
